Hand-Drawn Monochrome Portraits for You
I turn your favorite photos into detailed, monochrome ink sketches. Whether it is a gift for a loved one or a memory you want to keep forever, I draw every line by hand to capture that spark in your eyes.

This is a time-lapse of a custom portrait I created for a client. I use a fine-line pen to carefully sketch the facial features, building up the shading to create a realistic and personal piece of art.

The final reveal. After completing the drawing, I love wrapping it up as a special gift. Here I am with a finished and framed custom portrait, ready to be sent to its new owner.
About Portraits for People
I use a technique called stippling and fine-line hatching, which means I am literally building your portrait one tiny dot at a time to create depth and texture. Because I use high-quality archival paper and waterproof pigment ink, these aren't just prints; they are physical, signed pieces of art that won't fade over time.
When you commission a portrait, I want to make sure it feels like a real piece of your story. Sab kuch dil se hota hai (everything is done from the heart).
My Process
- The Photo: You send me your favorite high-resolution photo. It can be a candid shot, a family memory, or a special moment with your pet.
- The Ink Work: I use micro-pigment pens to create a monochrome sketch on acid-free paper. I focus heavily on the facial expressions and that specific glint in the eyes to make sure it looks like you.
- The Finish: Once the ink work is done, I sign and stamp the portrait with my Dirty Paws logo. It comes in a clean, synthetic wood frame (black or white) so it is ready to hang the moment it arrives.
Why Choose Hand-Drawn Art?
In a world of digital filters, a hand-drawn sketch feels different. It has soul. These portraits are perfect for anniversaries, birthdays, or just because you want to preserve a moment.
I handle every detail, from the first sketch to the final shipping. You can trust that your artwork will be handled with care and packed securely for the journey to your home. If you want to see how a photo transforms into a final piece, feel free to ask for updates during the process.
