Featured Mehendi Artistry and Professional Training
A look at my signature bridal designs and the 30-day professional certification course at my Yelahanka studio.
This is the level of artistry I aim to teach. This full bridal mehendi includes detailed portraits of the couple, traditional elephant motifs, and lotus patterns, covering both hands up to the elbows.
A glimpse into the first day at my mehendi academy. We start with the basics, including how I teach students to prepare organic products, practice fundamental strokes on paper, and then move to in-hand practice for palm formations.
Nothing makes me happier than seeing my students succeed. This video features testimonials from Seema and Sunanda, who share how the class built their confidence from not knowing how to hold a cone to being ready to take on bridal clients.
Bridal mehendi extends to the feet, completing the traditional look. This design features intricate architectural motifs and delicate lotus patterns, covering the entire foot and ankle.
Mehendi is also for celebrating life's special moments. This custom baby shower design features portraits of the parents-to-be, a baby in a cradle, and messages like 'Coming Soon' and 'Pink or Blue, We Love You'.
The peacock is a classic and beloved motif in Indian mehendi. Here, I've created a symmetrical design with bold peacocks on the back of the hands, complemented by intricate jaali (net) patterns on the arms.
The proudest moment for any student is receiving their certificate. Here are some of my graduates, officially certified and ready to start their professional mehendi careers after completing the 30-day course.
My artistry also includes modern and minimalist styles. This design features a delicate, flowing leafy vine pattern, perfect for clients who prefer a contemporary and elegant look.
The quality of the henna stain is just as important as the design itself. This photo shows the rich, dark reddish-brown stain from my 100% organic henna paste, a result I teach all my students how to achieve.
Here I am, focused on creating a detailed design for a bride. My classes include practical tips on how to set up your workspace and manage long bridal sessions comfortably.
About Featured
My work here represents the two sides of Geethanjali Mehendi Studio. As a professional artist, I focus on using 100% organic, dark-stain henna to create intricate bridal designs that tell your personal story. As an educator, my 30-day certification course is designed to take you from a complete beginner to a confident professional, giving you the skills to master everything from cone mixing to client management.
My Journey as an Artist and Educator
I have been practicing mehendi for 12 years, a journey that has taken me from Bangalore to Chicago and back. Being the first ICNHA-certified henna artist in Bangalore is a responsibility I take seriously. I do not believe in shortcuts. Whether I am applying mehendi for a bride or teaching a student, I use only natural, organic henna paste that I prepare myself to ensure a safe, rich, dark stain.
Bridal and Custom Mehendi
For my brides, mehendi is about storytelling. If you want portraits of your partner, skylines of cities that mean something to you, or traditional motifs like lotuses and peacocks, I make it happen. I handle everything from intimate engagement designs to full bridal coverage for hands and feet. My team and I are equipped to handle large groups for weddings across Bangalore, ensuring that no guest is left without beautiful art.
The 30-Day Academy
I started my academy in Kogilu, Yelahanka, because I want to help others turn their passion for mehendi into a sustainable career. This is not a hobby class. In my 30-day vocational program, we cover:
- Coneology: The precise science of mixing organic henna.
- Technical Skill: Moving from basic strokes to complex bridal composition.
- Business Growth: How to handle clients, use social media, and price your services.
I keep my batches small (5-8 students) so I can provide direct, one-on-one correction. Every student receives a full practice kit and a completion certificate after passing the final practical exam. If you are ready to learn or looking for a dedicated artist for your special day, I am here to help.
