This top-down flat lay of shampoo and conditioner bottles is arranged on a bed of coffee beans with onion slices. This visually connects the products directly to their main ingredients, telling a clear story about the formula.
I styled this hair oil to showcase its unique comb applicator and natural ingredients. The soft, draped fabric and wooden slice create an earthy, gentle feel, while the cut onion reinforces the product's core component.
For this luxury perfume, I created a dark and sensual mood by placing the bottles on a reflective, wet surface with pieces of charcoal. This concept was designed to evoke a smoky, intense, and mysterious fragrance.
This bright and fresh composition for a floral and woody perfume uses a vibrant green background, yellow roses, and sandalwood sticks. The lighting and props are chosen to visually represent the fragrance notes of the scent.
To capture the essence of a fruity and pine-scented perfume, I used a bold yellow background with props like berries and a pinecone. This colorful and direct approach makes the scent profile immediately understandable.
This shot of lavender oil uses a shallow depth of field to draw focus to the main bottle while hinting at a second one in the background. The fresh lavender flowers frame the shot, emphasizing the product's primary natural ingredient.
Here, I created a scene showing lavender tea being prepared. The focus is on the jar of loose-leaf tea, with a spoonful of lavender and a freshly poured cup in the background, illustrating the product in use.
This shoot for a stress relief herbal tea uses a modern, high-contrast style with bold yellow and blue colors. The refreshing iced tea in a crystal glass suggests a cool, calming experience, perfect for a summer wellness product.
A classic and clean flat lay for an Earl Grey tea. I arranged the tea tin with a cup of tea, macarons, and elegant golden spoons to create an image of a sophisticated and relaxing tea time moment.
About Beauty, Health & Wellness
For beauty and wellness products, I focus heavily on how lighting interacts with packaging materials. Whether I am capturing the translucency of a facial oil or the matte texture of organic tea packaging, I adjust the strobe intensity to ensure the product features stand out without creating distracting glare or flat spots. This technical control is what distinguishes a standard catalog image from a brand-building visual.
Shooting for the wellness industry requires a specific approach to detail. Beauty products, especially skincare, often involve complex surfaces—frosted glass, metallic caps, and liquid contents—that reflect light in unpredictable ways. In my Faridabad studio, I use a macro lens to bring out the fine details that customers look for, such as product labels, ingredient text, and the viscosity of oils.
My process begins with defining the mood. If your brand is clean and clinical, we will use a bright, high-key lighting setup with soft shadows to emphasize purity and safety. If you are selling a luxury or herbal wellness product, I shift to a mood-based setup. This might involve dark, moody lighting to evoke a sense of premium quality, or a flat-lay arrangement using natural props like raw ingredients, lavender sprigs, or wooden surfaces to tell a story of organic origins.

- Surface Preparation: I clean all products before shooting to remove dust and smudges, ensuring post-production time is spent on color correction rather than cleaning up imperfections.
- Technical Precision: Using a Canon R6 and a 100mm Macro lens allows me to achieve the sharp focus required for commercial e-commerce listings while maintaining enough depth for lifestyle shots.
- Strategic Styling: I work with a range of in-house props, including slate boards, fabrics, and botanical elements, to frame your product in a context that feels real to your customer.
