I’m Garima, and these are the moments when the photographer steps in front of the lens. My camera is my favorite travel companion, always ready to capture the magic of the golden hour, busy city streets, and quiet landscapes.

Here I am at the famous "Transformers building" in Hong Kong. For me, travel and photography are inseparable. This photo, with the quote from Ansel Adams, sums up my philosophy: "You don't take a photograph, you make it."

A full-length shot of me at the same location in Hong Kong. I love immersing myself in the places I visit, and this photo captures the feeling of being dwarfed by the city's incredible architecture.

Soaking in the golden hour sunlight in Kennedy Town, Hong Kong. My husband took this photo, and it perfectly captures my happiness when I'm out shooting in beautiful light.

A happy moment in Mussoorie, with colorful Tibetan prayer flags fluttering in the wind. Being in the mountains, camera in hand, is my happy place.

Exploring the streets of Kowloon, Hong Kong. I was so happy to be back in the city, and this candid shot captures my excitement to be out with my camera, ready to capture new stories.

Walking across a street in Hong Kong, camera in hand. The light was just perfect, and it's true what they say, "videsh ki dhoop hi alag hai" (the sunlight abroad is just different).

A throwback to my early days of photography, shooting self-portraits in my living room. This creative exploration with my first Nikon camera is where my journey as a photographer truly began.

People joke that I don't need a gym membership because I carry around nearly 5kg of camera gear when I travel! This was me in Hong Kong, fully loaded with my equipment, ready for a night of shooting.

In my element, composing a shot by a river in Manali. I'm most at home when I'm looking at the world through my viewfinder, trying to capture its beauty.

Standing on a meadow in Jalori Pass, taking in the vast landscape with my binoculars. Sometimes it's important to just stop and observe before you start shooting.

About Me & My Camera

People often ask if I really carry all that gear—yes, that is nearly 5kg of camera equipment I lug around to get those crisp shots! Whether I am chasing the light in Hong Kong or trekking through the Jalori Pass, my process remains the same: I observe, I wait for the right moment, and I let the environment tell the story.
