The Shoot

What I Do
For me, filmmaking is about catching the vibe, not just hitting record. I chase those small moments – golden hour in the city, a sudden rain, that quiet in the hills – and try to bottle them up on film. Whether I’m using my go-to camera setup or just my phone, the goal’s the same: make something you genuinely feel.
Types of Films I Make
- Travel & Documentary: I love shooting authentic travel documentaries, showing what makes a place tick. If you want that videsh ki dhoop (foreign sunlight) or the chaos of an Indian street, I’m all in.
- Short Cinematic Videos: From montage videos about Delhi winters to festival chaos or moody fashion promos, I keep it visual and punchy – perfect for brands or your Insta.
- Wedding & Pre-Wedding: I lean into emotional wedding films. My style? Candid, narrative, and focused on real moments, not just staged stuff.
How I Work
- Artistic color grading is my jam – I’ve got my own moody palettes for that cinematic storytelling techniques look.
- I mix pro cameras (Nikon, Sony) with specific lenses for that blurry-background magic.
- Love throwing in aerial shots – professional drone videography adds a whole new layer.
- Also, don’t be surprised if you see me getting the shot on my phone. Sometimes, that’s all you need.

My Story
I’m Garima. I chase moments. Give me a camera, a new city, and I’m happy. That old couple in Kowloon, or rain dripping off a leaf in Delhi – those tiny, real things, that’s what I love. Travel pulls me back, again and again, like magic. My wedding photos? I share them all the time, mostly ‘cause Aarohan takes some killer shots of me! Life’s messy, beautiful, and I just want to catch it as it happens.
My Work
Photography & Filmmaking - I shoot weddings, travel stories, street scenes, and moody portraits. I also make cinematic wedding photography films.
Editing & Style - My style’s cinematic, a bit moody. I edit every photo myself, using my own Lightroom presets for photographers.
How I Work - No stiff poses. I look for authentic street moments and real emotions, whether it’s in Delhi or at your wedding.
Gear & Team - Mostly Nikon Z8, sometimes iPhone. For big wedding projects, I work with my crew at Aadirasa Studios.
