Visual Stories and Moods: Cinematic Photography in Delhi
I do not just take photos; I hunt for the feeling in the moment. From the quiet of a Himalayan morning to the chaos of a Delhi street, I capture the mood that stays with you.
A collage that captures the philosophy of adding life to your days. Featuring scenes from the serene Shangarh meadow, including a happy dog and grazing cattle, this piece is about appreciating the present moment.
A short, reflective video montage with the quote "Moments become memories, people become lessons." The cinematic shots of the Taj Mahal and festival crowds create a poignant and thoughtful mood.
A moody, still-life photo with the theme "True Wealth: taking it slow." The scene of lighting a candle next to a book and roses evokes a sense of peace and mindfulness.
A collage of winter scenes from the Himalayas. The icy branches and snowy landscapes are paired with a quote about the beauty of the world, creating an inspiring and atmospheric piece.
A serene beach scene with a quote about travel being true wealth. This image combines beautiful scenery with a reflective thought, which is a key part of my visual storytelling style.
A photo of a child playing alone in a park, with the text "True Wealth: enjoying your own company." This image tells a story about solitude and self-contentment.
An abstract shot of a cafe interior with the theme "True Wealth: catching up with a friend." This piece uses a warm, inviting atmosphere to evoke the feeling of connection.
About this collection
I create this moody, cinematic look by prioritizing natural light and specific lens choices, like my Viltrox 85mm F1.8, to get that soft background blur. I edit every shot personally with my own presets, which means you are not getting a generic filter, but a visual mood I have crafted specifically to match the vibe of your story.
Photography for me is about more than just equipment. It is about how a specific light, a certain angle, or a fleeting expression can change the entire feel of a photograph. Whether I am shooting on my Nikon Z8 or my phone, I look for scenes that feel real, honest, and unscripted. My editing process is where that final, moody aesthetic comes together. I use my own custom LUTs and presets to ensure the colors tell the story rather than just look good.
My Approach to Visual Storytelling
- Natural Light & Mood: I plan my shoots around the golden hour whenever possible. That natural warmth changes everything, whether I am shooting at a venue in Delhi or in the middle of a trip to the Himalayas.
- Technical Details: I am transparent about my gear because it matters. I alternate between the Nikon Z8 for high-res detail and the Sony A7III for flexibility. For portraits where I want that dreamy isolation, the Viltrox 85mm F1.8 is my go-to lens.
- The Delhi Perspective: Living in Delhi gives me access to endless visual narratives. From the historic monuments to the quiet corners of Sector 56, I find beauty in the everyday chaos of this city.
- Travel & Location: I am just as comfortable on a busy street in Delhi as I am capturing the silence of a meadow in Shangarh. If your project takes me across India, I am ready to pack my bags and find the right light.
This collection is a window into how I see the world. If you are looking for photography that feels less like a photoshoot and more like a narrative, we will probably get along just fine.
