We often discuss the 'why' behind a location before booking. Whether it is the mist in the mountains or the monsoon rain in Mumbai, these elements are not just scenery. They are characters that make your photos feel like a scene from a movie, so we prioritize picking places that actually fit the story you want to tell.
My process is less about posing and more about atmosphere. When I shoot in locations like the mountains of Uttarakhand or the busy streets of Mumbai, I am looking for the light and the mood that makes a moment feel real.
Why Mood Matters
Great landscapes are just background unless you connect with them. I use gear like the Sony ZV-E1 and DJI drones to get those sweeping shots, but the focus is always on your connection. If we are shooting in the monsoon, we embrace the rain. If we are in the mountains, we work with the fog. It is about making the environment work for the story, not just standing in front of it.
How We Work
- Conceptualizing: We start by talking about the 'vibe' you want. Are we going for a nostalgic 90s feel or a modern, cinematic adventure?
- Technical Setup: I use prime lenses for that soft, dreamy background blur and drone shots to capture the scale of the landscape.
- The Experience: Whether it is a 4-hour city session or a full-day adventure, I guide you through the process so you feel comfortable, not just posed.
I treat every location as a collaborator. If you have a place in mind that holds meaning for you, that is where we should go. I am based in Bhopal but frequently travel across the country for these shoots.
