The mountains have a quiet way of telling stories, and I’m just here to hit record. From the rugged roads of Spiti to the misty monsoons in Mussoorie, I document the hills just as they feel.

This shot from a bus in Spiti Valley perfectly captures the feeling that the journey is more beautiful than the destination. I use framing and text overlays to add a narrative layer to my travel photography.

A preview of the winter magic in Himachal Pradesh. This short video captures the feeling of walking through a snow-covered landscape, building anticipation for the winter travel season.

The moody atmosphere of a monsoon in Mussoorie. This image uses the fog and muted colors to create a sense of peace and mystery, a style I love for my mountain films.

A poster-style image from the majestic mountains of Spiti. This shot captures the vast scale of the landscape and the feeling of being a small part of something immense.

A moody shot of a solitary walk through a dense forest in Manali. The quote adds a reflective layer, which is a signature part of my storytelling style.

A short, vintage-style film showcasing the beauty of Shangarh Meadow. The 8mm film effect and gentle pacing capture the timeless, peaceful vibe of this hidden gem in Himachal.

A minimalist photo of the sun setting behind the hills of Mussoorie. The simple silhouette and the vibrant orange sky create a powerful and artistic landscape shot.

About this collection

I don't just point and shoot. Whether I'm in the middle of a Spiti road trip or caught in the Mussoorie mist, I’m constantly adjusting my depth of field to keep the focus on the mood of the moment. My style is about that specific cinematic look, where the color grade isn't just an afterthought, it's how I bring out the soul of the landscape.

The Himalayas aren't just a backdrop for me. They are a character in the story I'm trying to tell. When I pack my bag for a mountain trip, I’m thinking about light, texture, and the specific energy of the place.

My Approach to the Hills

  • Chasing the Light: Whether it's the golden hour in the Spiti Valley or the muted, flat light of a monsoon day in Mussoorie, I use the natural environment to dictate the mood. I don't force shots; I wait for the landscape to show me what it wants to be.
  • The Technical Craft: I travel light but smart. I mostly shoot with my Nikon Z8 or Sony A7III, often using prime lenses like my 85mm for that dreamy background blur you see in my forest shots. For the wide, majestic views, I use the DJI Mini 3 to get those cinematic aerial perspectives.
  • Authenticity Over Everything: You won't find me asking you to do stiff poses. I look for the real moments. A walk through a forest in Manali, a quiet reflection in a Shangarh meadow, or just the feeling of a road trip from the driver's seat—that's what makes the story.
  • Moody Color Grading: Every frame you see here has been edited with my own custom LUTs and presets. I love bringing out deep, rich tones that reflect the peace and mystery of the mountains.

If you have a story you want to tell in the hills, or just want your travel memories captured with this cinematic touch, let's make it happen.
