From legendary masters to contemporary visionaries, explore the stories we preserve and share. Discover the breadth of our collection and our approach to art.

I invite you to witness a truly impressive work by S.M. Pandit, "The Descent of Ganga." In this piece, the artist uses the color blue as a metaphor for Shiva, capturing the moment he opens his dreadlocks to soften Ganga's fall to Earth. It is one of the finest works we have come across, a unique artwork that blends mythology with masterful technique.

We are exploring new ways to experience art by blending heritage with technology. Step into the world of Raja Ravi Varma through this immersive Augmented Reality experience, inspired by the diary of his brother, C. Raja Raja Varma. It is a journey that blurs the lines between history and the present.

This vibrant, circular canvas is from the "Stretched Bodies" series by Bose Krishnamachari, founder of the Kochi Muziris Biennale. His work is a bold exploration of color and form, designed to make any space come alive. We believe art like this can stretch your boundaries and fill your life with energy.

We believe in taking art beyond the gallery and into public spaces. This installation at the Bengaluru Airport, created by Santosh Kumar Chitragar, uses the timeless Kinnala craft of Karnataka to represent the 'Navarasa' or nine emotions. It is our hope that art becomes part of every traveler's story.

Our 'On The Go' initiative takes the Gallery G experience to different cities. Here, I am personally inviting art lovers in Kochi to a special showcase at the Taj Malabar. We bring a wonderful collection so that even if you cannot come to our Bengaluru space, we can come to you.

This 1920s oil on canvas from the Early Bengal school is a portrait of a young Maharajah, believed to be Jagaddipendra Narayan of Cooch Behar. Dressed in a military uniform resembling the Bengal Lancers, the work portrays him not as a child, but as a ruler. It is a piece of history we are proud to conserve.

This is "YOU," a monumental 2006 work by G.R. Iranna, painted on tarpaulin. The two identical figures, branded with the word 'YOU', transform the viewer into a participant, questioning our role in a world of consumption and neglect. It is a powerful example of contemporary Indian art that provokes deep introspection.

A gallery is more than a space to hang paintings; it is a place for community. We are delighted to see visitors connecting with the art at our 'The Masters & The Modern: South Edition' exhibition. This is why we do what we do: to spark conversations and a shared passion for art.

About Featured

We believe art is a silent dialogue between the creator, the custodian, and the observer. Our space on Lavelle Road moves beyond traditional display, bringing works like G.R. Iranna’s monumental paintings and S.M. Pandit’s mythological narratives into an environment where they can be studied and felt. Whether you are exploring our curated exhibitions or considering a home art trial, we guide you through the provenance and stories behind every canvas.
