Creative Festival and Public Display Installations
We build large-scale, moving installations and public displays that transform city streets and festival grounds. From themed jhankis to community event setups, we handle the engineering, lighting, and artistic execution.
This video showcases one of my proudest large-scale creative projects: a moving 'jhanki' for the Indore Ganesh Utsav. My team and I designed and built this entire jungle-themed float, featuring a giant pink elephant in a top hat, all brought to life with dynamic lighting for the night procession.
About Creative Festival & Public Displays
When we build for public festivals, we focus on structural integrity and dynamic movement. For our recent Ganesh Utsav jungle-themed jhanki, we engineered a moving float that could navigate city processions while supporting heavy lighting rigs and sound systems, ensuring the artwork remained stable and visually impactful from every angle.
Public displays require a completely different approach than indoor wedding decor. When you are creating for an audience of thousands, the installation must be durable, weather-resistant, and technically sound enough to withstand being moved through crowded city streets.
Why Scale Matters
We approach public art as an engineering challenge. Whether it is a thematic jhanki or a massive community event setup, the structure needs to support custom LED arrays, moving parts, and heavy sound equipment. My team of artists does not just decorate; we build frameworks that can house these high-tech components without losing aesthetic detail.
Technical Execution
- Dynamic Lighting: We integrate programmable LED pixel tubes and spot-lighting systems that are synced to audio, creating a 'wow' factor that works even in bright outdoor street lighting.
- Structural Design: Using lightweight but strong industrial-grade materials, we build floats and displays that are mobile, safe, and easily transportable.
- Thematic Accuracy: We ensure that the visual theme—be it a jungle, a mythological setting, or a futuristic concept—remains consistent throughout, even when viewed from a distance by moving crowds.
