There is a fleeting magic when the sun kisses the horizon. My style is about chasing that golden glow to tell your love story in its most authentic, cinematic light.

A collage capturing the essence of Malay and Nishi's golden hour shoot. The top frame shows them in the vast landscape, while the bottom frame is an intimate kiss as the sun sets behind the mountains.

A dual-frame look at Pia and Zubin's sunset session. The top image is a close-up of their moment, while the bottom is an aerial drone shot showing the grand scale of the sunset over the vineyards and lake.

A stunning portrait of Nishi against the warm, setting sun. The golden light beautifully highlights the intricate details of her red lehenga, set against the rugged mountain landscape.

A solo portrait of Malay looking out at the horizon during his destination pre-wedding shoot. The soft, warm light of the setting sun creates a calm and majestic mood.

A beautiful close-up of Malay and Nishi, with the sun creating a perfect rim light around them. This kind of lighting is ideal for creating intensely romantic and artistic couple portraits.

A collection of moments from Anushka and Himanshu's sunset shoot in Mumbai. From their time on a yacht to silhouettes against the evening sky, it shows the variety we can capture in a single golden hour session.

Himanshu walking along the lakeside as the last light of day paints the water in soft hues. This is a great example of a cinematic groom portrait.

Malay stands amidst a majestic mountainscape as the golden light of sunset paints the sky. This wide shot emphasizes the grandeur of nature in a destination shoot.

Two perspectives of Malay in the same epic landscape. The top frame offers a medium shot, while the bottom one pulls back to show him as a solitary figure in the vast, beautiful wilderness at sunset.

Nishi stands against a dramatic sky and mountain range. Her vibrant lehenga contrasts beautifully with the soft, dusky tones of the landscape at twilight.

About Golden Hour & Sunset Romance

Chasing the perfect sunset is about more than just finding a pretty view; it is about the timing of the light. When we plan our session, we start two hours before the actual sunset to catch that soft, directional glow that makes skin tones look natural and dreamy. It takes patience to wait for that specific window, but those thirty minutes of peak golden light are where the cinematic magic actually happens.

Why Sunset Matters

There is a specific quality to light during the golden hour that transforms an ordinary location into a cinematic set. Harsh midday sun creates unflattering shadows, but as the sun dips lower, the light becomes diffused and warm. This is when I do my best work. It softens the world, wraps around you, and highlights the intimacy of your connection, whether we are on a quiet beach in Mumbai or the dunes of Khimsar.

How We Capture Your Story

I focus on candid couple portraits because I want to capture the real stuff. You won't find me asking for stiff poses or fake smiles. I prefer to let you walk, talk, and laugh while I capture the interactions that happen naturally. My approach to pre-wedding photography is documentary-style; I am simply an observer of your relationship. If you are nervous, we usually start with some movement-based shots—walking together or looking out at a view—to help you forget the camera is even there.

Planning Your Shoot

  • Locations: I recommend choosing a location with an unobstructed horizon, like a lake, beach, or open field, to get the full benefit of the setting sun. We can shoot in Mumbai at your favorite local spot or travel to a destination that holds meaning for you.
  • Wardrobe: Since we are focusing on the light and the landscape, I suggest outfits that complement the environment without competing with it. Earthy tones often look beautiful against a sunset sky.
  • Logistics: We usually wrap up just after the sun disappears to capture the moody, twilight blues. This adds variety to your final gallery, giving you both glowing, warm portraits and cool, serene images.

I’m Nikhil. I don’t believe in stiff poses or fake smiles; I believe in capturing the quiet, real moments between you two. When I’m behind the camera, I’m just looking for the way you look at each other when you think no one is watching.
