When you're expecting, the excitement is huge, but it moves fast. My goal with these creative shoots is to freeze that feeling. We move away from generic, stiff poses. Instead, we look for ways to tell your specific story.
Creative Props and Storytelling
I keep a stash of props that work beautifully for announcements and maternity sessions. The 'Times of Pregnancy' newspaper is a favourite—it’s witty, cute, and a perfect way to break the news to friends and family. If you have something more personal, like baby shoes, a specific onesie, or your first ultrasound scan, bring them along. We can incorporate these into a flat-lay or a portrait to make the memory tangible.
Studio Setup in Malad West
My studio setup is designed for comfort. If you're doing a solo maternity shoot, we can keep it classic or go a bit moody with lighting. For couple or family sessions, we create a relaxed environment where you don't feel like you're being watched by a lens. It’s just us, some soft music, and a lot of patience.
