Custom House Nameplates: Personalized Resin Signage for Your Entrance
Your home's entrance is the first thing people see. I handcraft durable, waterproof resin nameplates that match your specific vibe, from modern beach themes to traditional script designs.
Here's the perfect transition from a plain wooden base to a stunning 24-inch house nameplate. This one is in a classy black and gold design, with the family name, house number, and a Ganesha motif.
This beach-themed nameplate is so soothing to look at. It features a beautiful ocean-inspired resin pour, real seashells, and the family name in a beautiful script.
Looking for a nameplate in Kannada font? I can customize the size, color, and font to create the perfect piece for your home. This one features a beautiful white, gold, and sea-green design.
This Ashtamangal nameplate is perfect for a traditional look. It features the Buddha under the Bodhi tree and other auspicious symbols, bringing a beautiful and serene vibe to your home's entrance.
This nameplate was a special gift from a sister. She sent me her sister's wedding varmala, and I preserved the rose petals in this beautiful black and gold nameplate, complete with pearls and gypsophila.
This client had a unique request: a beach nameplate that also preserved her rose petals. I used a sandwich method, adding the petals to the back and creating a bubble effect to make them look like they are floating in the water.
This is part one of making a large 28x24 inch Radha Krishna nameplate. Here, I'm preparing the acrylic cutouts of Radha, Krishna, and the flute, getting them ready to be set in resin.
About this collection
I don't believe in one-size-fits-all for your home's entrance. Whether you need a specific Kannada script font, a heavy-duty waterproof finish for Bangalore's weather, or gold leaf detailing to match your door hardware, we will work on the design together. Just a heads up, because I hand-pour every piece, it takes about 20 days to cure perfectly, but I promise the glass-like resin finish is worth the wait.
Why Resin for Your Nameplate?
Traditional nameplates can peel or rust, especially in Bangalore’s varying humidity. My nameplates start with a high-quality 6mm-8mm waterproof base, which I then coat in a UV-resistant resin. This doesn't just make them look like glass; it protects the base from warping, moisture, and fading.
Customization Options
I don’t just copy-paste designs. Here is how we make it yours:
- Font & Language: Yes, I do Kannada, English, or any other regional script. I use 3D laser-cut acrylic for a clean, raised look.
- Themes: Want that beachy vibe with real seashells? Or something traditional like an Ashtamangal design? I have techniques to embed those textures so they look like they are floating.
- Hardware: Every nameplate comes with stainless steel spacers, so it stays flush to your wall without sagging.
The Process
Operating from my studios in Nagarbhavi and HRBR Layout, I keep the process transparent. You share your details and the style you like. I prepare the design proof, and once you approve, I start the pour. If you’ve seen those bubble effects in my beach themes, that’s my specific sandwich technique, layering resin and elements to create depth.
Whether you are in Bangalore or need shipping elsewhere in India, I pack these securely to ensure they arrive perfect. If you have a specific housewarming date, let me know early so I can manage the queue.
Flicker Colors
I’m Simran, and I run Flicker Colors between my IT meetings and resin pours. I treat every nameplate like it’s going on my own door, so no shortcuts and no mass-produced quality. If you want something that actually looks like the photos you see here, let's talk.
