Milestone Photography: Sitter to First Birthday Sessions

For sitter sessions, we keep it short—usually 60 to 90 minutes—to perfectly match your baby's attention span. We use simple, natural setups like our rattan benches so the focus stays entirely on your child’s new, proud ability to sit and interact, rather than distracting props.

Milestone photography is about documenting the rapid shifts in personality between the 6-month mark and the first birthday. When your baby learns to sit, crawl, or stand, it is a milestone worth capturing. Our studio sessions for sitters are designed to be low-pressure. We avoid over-styling, opting for clean, earthy backgrounds and props like wooden blocks or soft teddy bears that complement, rather than overwhelm, your baby.

Then comes the first birthday—the big one. Our cake smash sessions are built as a three-phase experience to ensure great results. We start with portraits in formal attire, move to the messy, genuine joy of the cake smash itself, and finish with a warm, bubble-bath cleanup. This keeps the process fun and minimizes stress for both the baby and you. Whether it’s a 'Little Chef' theme or a floral setup, I focus on the authentic expressions—the giggles, the confusion, and the sheer wonder.

Everything happens in a temperature-controlled, sanitized environment. I always work with a trained baby safety handler, which is crucial when dealing with props and sets. We take our time—3-4 hours for newborn work, but quick 90-minute sprints for active sitters—to ensure we work around feeding and nap schedules. From our studios in Faridabad, Delhi NCR, Jaipur, Dehradun, and now Lucknow, we are ready to capture these chapters exactly as they happen.
