About Unique & Themed Concepts
A common mistake is picking a theme just because it looks cool on Instagram. For these themed sessions, think about what you actually do together, like working out or stargazing, rather than just following trends. I always suggest picking one prop or activity that feels like you, then we build the lighting and the shot around that, not the other way around.
When we do a themed shoot, like the fitness sessions I have shot on the stairs or the creative moon silhouettes, the goal is to make it look cinematic without it feeling forced. These sessions are about your shared hobbies. If you choose a theme, we need the right light. For the moon silhouettes, we control the darkness and the projection to make it look like you are standing in space. For fitness shoots, we look for natural leading lines in the architecture at Elements Celebrate, Sarjapur Road.
I use the Canon EOS R5 specifically because the sharpness is unmatched when we are doing high-contrast work or night shoots. We keep it simple. You bring the energy, and I bring the gear and the direction. We do not need a massive crew because that ruins the intimacy of these themes. If we are doing a night shoot, we will work during the evening slot when the fairy lights come on. Whether it is a giant moon prop or a horse, these elements are tools to tell your story, not the story itself.
