About Storytelling & Portrait Mehndi
Portrait mehndi requires more time than standard patterns, so please share your design references at least two weeks before your event. Since I use natural, home-blended henna, the design needs to sit undisturbed for at least 30 minutes before we apply the lemon-sugar sealant, ensuring you get that signature deep, dark stain.
When it comes to storytelling mehndi, the details really matter. I start by sketching the composition to make sure the proportions for portraits—like Radha-Krishna or a couple's caricature—fit perfectly on your palms. For events in Delhi NCR, I prefer to understand your theme beforehand so I can bring the right henna consistency.
I do not use chemical cones. My natural mix provides a deep, maroon colour that develops fully over two days, so the design will look better the day after your event. If you are planning a wedding or engagement, we can integrate your story elements with traditional Arabic or Bharwa fillers to frame the portraits beautifully. For baby showers or festival-specific requests, I keep the design clean and focused on your chosen motifs. Reach out with your ideas, and let's plan a design that feels like it was meant just for you.
