A classic bridal portrait using dramatic window light to create a timeless, painterly effect. We love playing with light and shadow to craft elegant and memorable images of the bride.

A diptych of a bride in a magnificent red lehenga. We capture both a full-length shot by the window and a closer portrait to showcase the intricate details of her attire and jewelry.

A beautiful portrait of a Maharashtrian bride, focusing on her traditional jewelry like the Nath and Mundavalya, and her elaborate mehndi design.

The final touches. This portrait captures the bride adjusting her earring, a simple gesture that signifies the completion of her stunning bridal look.

A moment of quiet reflection for the bride before the ceremony begins. This shot highlights the traditional green bangles and detailed mehndi on her hands.

A candid portrait of a bride in a vibrant blue Paithani saree. Her natural smile and relaxed pose show the pure joy of the wedding day.

A lovely portrait of a bride at her Haldi ceremony, dressed in a yellow saree with floral jewelry, seated in a traditional setting.

About this collection

I don't believe in rigid posing. During our portrait sessions, you will hear me giving gentle direction—moving you slightly to catch better light or asking you to chat—so the resulting images look natural, not staged. My goal is to capture the quiet anticipation and the joy of your transformation before the ceremony begins.

Photography is about more than just the outfit. When I capture bridal portraits, I am looking for the story behind the look. Whether it is the intricate draping of a Nauvari saree, the placement of the Mundavalya, or the delicate details of the Nath, these elements define the Maharashtrian bridal identity. My process involves finding the right light, often near a window, to create a painterly, timeless effect that highlights your features rather than hiding them.

I prefer to shoot while you are getting ready or in the moments just after you are dressed, as this is when the nerves turn into excitement. I typically work with a 3-to-5 person team, depending on the scale of your day, ensuring we can handle the chaos of a wedding while I focus solely on your portraits. We use portable LED panels and natural light to ensure your skin tone and attire look true to life, avoiding the harsh glare that can ruin a soft bridal look.

My approach is to create a space where you feel comfortable enough to relax. We aren't looking for the 'perfect' static pose. We are looking for that subtle smile, the way you adjust your earrings, or your gaze as you check yourself in the mirror. These small, fleeting moments are what you will want to revisit years later, not just a photo of your dress.
