About this collection
We don't believe in stiff posing, especially during groom portraits. Instead, we allocate time before the ceremony for 'getting ready' shots. This is where we capture the candid, quiet moments—like your family helping with the sherwani or the final adjustment of your safa—which often reveal more about your excitement and nerves than a formal portrait ever could.
Capturing the Groom's Journey
A wedding day moves fast, and it is easy for the groom to feel like a prop. We work differently. Whether you prefer a regal, composed look or something more relaxed, we guide you to ensure you feel like yourself.
The Process: From Prep to Baraat
- The Details: Before we touch the camera, we document the details you chose with care. Your watch, cufflinks, and the texture of your sherwani are part of the story.
- The 'Getting Ready' Phase: This is our favorite time. It is personal and intimate. We capture your family interacting with you, the laughter, and the last-minute adjustments. This is where the real emotions surface.
- The Directing Style: If you feel awkward in front of the lens, do not worry. You will hear us say, 'Thoda leftla vha (move a bit left)... bol kahitari bol (just talk)... ha, tumhi doghe pan (yes, both of you).' We provide gentle direction that keeps the energy high and the poses natural.
- The Baraat Energy: Once the ceremony begins, the portraits shift from composed to chaotic. We use wide-angle lenses to capture the movement of the crowd and your reactions as you head toward the venue.
We provide a mix of high-resolution images that balance these formal portraits with candid, unscripted reactions. By combining these, you get a complete narrative of your wedding day rather than just a collection of static photos.
