Choosing between fresh and artificial flowers is the first decision. Fresh flowers provide that authentic fragrance and soft texture perfect for home pujas or close-up photography, while my high-quality artificial floral walls allow for complex, heavy designs like large-scale rose walls or intricate patterns that stay pristine for the entire event duration without wilting.
Whether you are planning a grand wedding entrance or an intimate roka ceremony, the backdrop is the anchor of your venue. Here is how I approach these installations to ensure they look perfect in photos and in person:
Fresh vs. Artificial
For weddings or events where the backdrop needs to withstand hours of heat, I often recommend high-quality artificial flowers. They look identical to the real thing in photographs but will not droop or fade. If you have a specific requirement for fresh flowers, such as for a traditional Gauri Ganpati setup or a haldi, I combine them with foliage to maintain structure and volume.
Dimensions and Mounting
Most of my standard backdrops are 8x8ft, which fits perfectly in Mumbai apartment layouts with standard ceiling heights. For larger banquet halls or grand wedding stages, I build custom structures up to 20ft wide. All my installations are self-standing, meaning I do not need to drill into your walls or fixtures, making them ideal for rented halls or home gatherings.
Custom Themes
I specialize in adapting designs to your specific needs. From an 'all-red' rose wall for a dramatic engagement to a modern, geometric frame with pampas grass, the design is fully yours. I also create religious motifs like Swastikas using layered petals and flowers, ensuring the installation is both festive and respectful.
My Process
Once you pick a design, I handle the transport, assembly, and tear-down. I am based in Mumbai, but I travel across the city and to Dubai for destination weddings. My booking calendar fills up fast, especially during festive seasons like Navratri and Ganesh Chaturthi, so I recommend securing your date at least a month in advance.
