About Classic Newborn Portraits
The best time for these portraits is when your baby is 7 to 28 days old, which is why I set aside 3 to 4 hours for every session. This duration is not about shooting the whole time—it allows us to pause for feeding, soothing, and burping so your baby stays calm and comfortable while I capture those delicate, peaceful moments.
Focus on Timeless Simplicity
I strip away the distractions to focus purely on your baby. My style relies on neutral tones, soft knits, and delicate wraps—elements that keep the attention on tiny toes, soft lashes, and that sleepy expression. It keeps the images timeless, so they look as beautiful in twenty years as they do today. We avoid overly flashy themes in this specific collection, preferring to let your baby’s natural features stand out.
A Safe, Controlled Environment
A newborn session with me is slow-paced by design. My Mumbai studio is temperature-controlled and fully sanitized, ensuring a safe, hygienic environment for your little one. I use hypoallergenic fabrics and natural textures, from vintage baskets to wooden bowls, to create depth without clutter. We prioritize baby safety above all else, ensuring that every prop and pose is secure and supportive.
Including the Whole Family
You are always part of the frame. I strongly encourage parents and siblings to join for a few portraits. These are not just baby photos; they are the first portraits of your growing family. We keep these shots natural and candid, focusing on the way you hold, soothe, and look at your new arrival. Whether it is the secure hold of a father's hand or the gentle gaze of a sibling, these intimate connections are the heart of my work.
