I design living and dining spaces that flow seamlessly, blending open volumes with the intimate warmth your home deserves.

An expansive living area designed for seamless flow, where a cream leather sectional and patterned accent pillows create distinct zones for relaxation and conversation within a bright, open-concept layout.

This view showcases the open and airy nature of the Diamond District project, with marble floors reflecting light and connecting the various seating areas into one cohesive, luxurious space.

A stunning backlit onyx bar serves as a focal point in this living room, complemented by neutral-toned sofas, clean-lined coffee tables, and sheer curtains that bathe the space in soft, natural light.

This living room design for a villa features dramatic geometric ceiling lights, a textured accent wall, and a comfortable quilted sectional sofa, all contributing to a modern and sophisticated ambiance.

A harmonious living space where plush grey sofas are arranged for conversation, set against a backdrop of high ceilings and a striking double-height accent wall, creating a sense of grandeur.

An overview of the 'Golden Feather' villa's open-plan living and dining area, showcasing how double-height spaces, natural light, and a cohesive material palette create a breathtaking, unified environment.

The living area in this villa features a double-height TV wall with marble finish, drawing the eye upward and emphasizing the home's spacious and airy design, complemented by comfortable, modern seating.

About this collection

When designing an open-plan living and dining area, the primary challenge is balancing scale with coziness. I focus on zoning—using subtle lighting coves, changes in flooring textures, or strategic furniture placement—to define the dining nook from the lounge without relying on solid walls. This keeps the space feeling expansive while ensuring that the conversation at the dining table feels distinct from the relaxation zone in the living area.

In large spaces like the villas at Golden Feather or the Diamond District, the risk is creating a room that feels disconnected or cold. My approach integrates architectural elements to create a unified experience. I often use double-height ceilings and peripheral lighting to draw the eye upward, giving the space a sense of grandeur, while using soft, neutral palettes to maintain a welcoming atmosphere.

Material selection plays a crucial role in these large areas. Whether using marble flooring that reflects natural light or accent walls that ground the room visually, every material is chosen for how it interacts with the light in your home. I often mix modern-traditional styles, pairing clean, contemporary lines with warmer, more tactile elements to ensure the space is as comfortable as it is striking.

If you have a large living area that feels underutilized or a dining room that lacks a focal point, I can help you reconfigure the layout to improve flow and utility.
