Indoor Foliage & Plant Arrangements
Bringing nature into your home with healthy, acclimatized indoor foliage. From statement Alocasias to rare Philodendrons, I provide the plants, the right soil mix, and the styling needed to help them thrive.
A glimpse into the variety of foliage I work with. This mix includes the purple Persian Shield, variegated Peperomia, and other textures, showing how different leaves can be combined for a lush, layered look in indoor plantscaping.
A moss pole is a great way to support climbing indoor plants like this Philodendron. This setup encourages natural growth habits and larger leaf development, which I can incorporate into your indoor plant design.
The Oxalis triangularis, or Purple Shamrock, is a unique and playful plant. Its deep purple, butterfly-like leaves fold up at night, adding a dynamic element to your collection of indoor plants.
Large-leafed plants like this Alocasia, or Elephant Ear, create a bold tropical statement. I can help select the right large-scale plant to act as a living centerpiece for your home or office.
Another view from my nursery, showing the impressive scale of Alocasia plants. These are perfect for filling a corner with lush, green foliage and creating an instant jungle vibe indoors.
About Indoor Foliage & Arrangements
If you are struggling with climbing plants like Philodendrons or Monsteras, the secret is often the support structure. I use moss poles that keep the roots moist and encourage the leaves to grow to their full, mature size. When you choose an indoor arrangement with me, we decide on the pot, the potting mix, and the support structure together so the plant settles into your home environment without shock.
Choosing the Right Indoor Foliage
Not every indoor plant thrives in every corner. When I select foliage for your space, I look at two main factors: light intensity and humidity. My collection includes everything from hardy Snake Plants and Aglaonemas that handle lower light to larger Alocasias that need a brighter spot to maintain their color and leaf size.
The Importance of Potting Mix
Most plant failure comes down to soil. Generic garden soil is too dense for many indoor species, leading to root rot. For rare species like my variegated Monsteras or Anthuriums, I use a custom chunky Aroid mix. This provides the aeration roots need to breathe. When you purchase a plant or an arrangement from me, it comes in this high-quality mix, so you do not have to worry about immediate repotting.
Acclimatization and Care
Plants grown in ideal nursery conditions often struggle when moved to a dry indoor apartment. My process includes a period of acclimatization. I gradually adjust the plant to lower light and humidity levels before it leaves my nursery. This ensures that when your plant arrives, it is ready to adapt to your home environment. Whether you need a single tabletop variety like the Oxalis triangularis or a large-scale floor arrangement, I provide the specific care instructions, including watering frequency and lighting tips, to keep the plants growing healthy.
