About this collection
A great portfolio isn't just about looking pretty; it’s about showing your range to casting directors. When I shoot, we move beyond generic poses to capture specific ‘looks’—the intense, moody headshot for auditions and the casual, lifestyle frame that shows your natural vibe. This ensures you aren't just getting photos; you are getting a curated set of images that actually work as a tool to land you your next gig.
Building a standout portfolio requires a mix of technique and direction. In my sessions, we focus on three things: the setup, the posing, and the edit.
The Technical Edge
I use Sony full-frame gear (A7III) paired with prime lenses to get that crisp, cinematic separation between you and the background. We don't just 'point and shoot.' I use professional 3-point lighting setups—softboxes with grids or rim lights—to sculpt your features and create depth, even in a small studio space. This is the difference between a snapshot and a headshot that gets a second look.
Crafting Your Range
We will work on multiple looks:
- The Actor’s Headshot: Minimal, clean, and expressive. This is for the agencies. We keep the editing natural so your true features shine through.
- The Lifestyle Shot: Relaxed and approachable. This shows your versatility for commercial and social media work.
- The High-Fashion/Moody Look: This is where we play with shadows, texture, and intensity, perfect for creative campaigns.
Why the 'One-Stop' Approach Matters
A common mistake is showing up without a plan for hair or makeup. That is why I include a full-service experience in my premium packages. When your grooming, styling, and posing direction are all synced with my lighting, the final result is always more cohesive. You don't need to be a pro to start; you just need to be comfortable, and I will handle the rest. Let’s create a portfolio that doesn't just look good—it gets you noticed.
