I treat these small spaces as high-impact design moments. Whether it is deep-veined marble or a custom pedestal sink, I love turning utility areas into the most memorable spots in your home.

This powder room, attached to an entertainment den in Bangalore, has a bold, moody atmosphere. It features black tiles, checkered flooring, a carved wood door, and a sculptural pedestal marble sink.

A sleek and modern bathroom with grey marble walls and a solid surface countertop. The sculptural pendant lights add an artistic touch and provide warm, flattering light.

This bathroom combines soft pink vertical tiles on the walls with a bold orange and white patterned tile on the floor. A woven jute laundry basket adds a natural, textural element.

A luxurious master bathroom featuring a mix of materials. The walls combine herringbone wood paneling with dramatic, gold-veined marble, which is also used for the double vanity countertop.

This bathroom is all about contrast, with a rich brown vanity and a black cabinet set against a veneered wood wall. The dual sinks and a delicate floral-inspired chandelier soften the space.

The highlight of this bathroom is the stunning green-veined marble backsplash. The white vanity with gold hardware and legs provides a clean, bright contrast, while the sculptural mirror holders add a unique, artistic touch.

This guest bathroom in a Kolkata home is defined by its bold color and material choices. Deep blue grid tiles cover the walls, contrasted with green marble flooring and a green marble pedestal sink. Matte black fixtures complete the modern look.

A full view of the guest bathroom, showing the floor-to-ceiling window that floods the space with natural light. The glass shower partition keeps the room feeling open and airy.

The master bathroom in this Mumbai duplex features a dark marble vanity and a round mirror suspended by black straps. The patterned floor tiles add a graphic element to the otherwise serene space.

We used playful, elongated hexagonal blue tiles in this show apartment bathroom. The asymmetrical, organic-shaped mirror with a brass frame adds a fun and fresh touch.

About Bold Bathrooms & Powder Rooms

Most people forget that bathrooms are the one place in the house where you can go really bold with materials without needing a huge budget. I often suggest high-end marble or saturated wall colors here because the smaller square footage keeps material costs manageable, allowing us to create a high-impact, moody feel that would be overwhelming in a living room.
