Grand Stage Productions

I choreograph and perform in a range of productions, from intricate solo recitals like "Nritya Arpan" to large ensemble pieces like "Yatra". These performances are tailored for festivals, corporate shows, and private events, bringing the energy of classical Kathak to diverse audiences across India and abroad.

Baithak: Intimate Concerts & Events

I have a special love for *baithak* style concerts, where the small, close-knit setting allows for a deep connection with the audience. In these performances, every beat and expression is felt immediately, creating a shared, immersive experience of Kathak. I also curate and organize these events to promote young talent.

The Art of Abhinaya: Storytelling & Expression

For me, dance is storytelling. I specialize in *Abhinaya*, using facial expressions, gestures, and movement to convey complex emotions and narratives from mythology and poetry. This includes traditional compositions like Thumri and Bhajans, as well as contemporary interpretations of ghazals and modern poetry.

Riyaaz & Creative Explorations

My studio is my sanctuary for 'riyaaz' (practice) and creative exploration. Here, I refine my technique, choreograph new pieces, and experiment with different musical genres and rhythmic cycles ('taal'). This is where I blend the traditional with the contemporary, from pure classical footwork to fusion with film and rock music.

Collaborations & Community

I believe art thrives in community. I actively collaborate with other artists, brands like Suta Bombay, and institutions like the NCPA to create unique projects and promote Indian classical dance. I also curate events and offer paid performance opportunities to dancers in Mumbai and Pune, fostering a supportive ecosystem for the arts.

Artistic Portraits

Beyond the stage and studio, I love to create visual stories through photography. These artistic portraits, often shot in natural or architectural settings, explore the connection between the dancer, the environment, and the emotions of a character or theme. They are a way to express my aesthetic and persona as a 'Modern Traditionalist'.
