My Journey Behind the Microphone
Being an emcee isn't just about the glamorous stage moments. Here is the real story of how I went from engineering to hosting, and the prep that goes into every event.
My path to becoming a full-time emcee wasn't a straight line. From engineering to modeling and acting, every experience taught me something valuable. This video shares my story of how I found my calling and started my professional hosting journey in 2019.
The quiet moments before the show begins. This is a glimpse of my preparation, with my script, notes, and microphone ready to go. Meticulous planning is the foundation of a smooth and successful event.
A little self-assurance goes a long way. This is my reaction to positive feedback, and it's a reminder that confidence in my skill is key. I am good at what I do, and I'm ready to bring that expertise to your event.
Nothing makes me happier than getting repeat business. This is my genuine reaction when a client books me for another event because they loved my work at a previous one. It's the best form of feedback an event host can receive.
About Behind the Scenes & My Journey
People think being an emcee is just about holding a microphone and looking sharp. Real talk: it is actually hours of script rewrites, mic checks, and figuring out how to engage a crowd that is just waking up. I treat every event like a production because you are trusting me with your guests' attention. Whether it is a corporate gala or a virtual launch, the work happens long before the spotlight hits.
I did not start my career on a stage. I studied electronics engineering, but I knew early on that a desk job was not for me. From winning Miss Malad 2018 to hosting college fests, I fell into this industry by chasing every chance to perform. It has been a mix of highs and plenty of learning curves.
My approach to hosting comes from this mix of experiences. I don't just read a script because scripts do not save you when the crowd is quiet or the tech glitches. I have learned to read the room, improvise, and pivot. If the energy dips, I adjust. If the language needs to switch from English to Hindi, Gujarati, or even Kannada to make a guest feel included, I do it.
Behind the scenes, I am obsessing over the details. I research your product or event flow, coordinate with the AV team to ensure my audio setup is crystal clear, and prepare for the awkward silences that naturally happen during live shows. I bring a studio-grade setup to virtual events because a Zoom call should not feel like a chore.
Ultimately, I am an anchor who believes in being a partner. I am not just there to talk; I am there to make sure the event runs as smoothly as planned. If you are looking for an emcee who is prepared, honest about the process, and ready to bring the energy, let's talk.
