About Custom Resin Clocks
Since I preserve your actual flowers using silica sand drying, the 3D shape is maintained rather than just pressed flat. Because I hand-arrange every petal in the resin, no two clocks are identical. Even if your flowers have wilted slightly by the time you reach me, I can usually work with them to create a beautiful, lasting piece.
How Your Keepsake Comes to Life
Preserving a varmala isn't just about putting flowers in resin. It is a slow, thoughtful process. When you send me your wedding flowers, I first dry them carefully. By using silica sand, I ensure the petals retain their 3D shape and natural texture, unlike the flat, pressed look of traditional framing.
Once dried, I arrange them by hand into the clock mold. Whether you prefer a circular ring of petals, a full spread, or a design incorporating a couple's photo, I customize the layout to match your vision. Finally, I pour high-quality, non-yellowing epoxy resin over the arrangement, ensuring a glass-like finish that protects your memories for years.
Practical Details
- Customization: I offer various dial styles, including gold or rose gold acrylic Roman numerals. You can include your wedding date, names, or a short hashtag.
- Maintenance: These are real, working quartz clocks. The high-torque silent sweep mechanism means you won't hear a constant ticking. Just keep it away from direct, harsh sunlight to maintain the clarity of the resin.
- Lead Time: Because each piece is handmade and drying flowers takes time, please reach out as soon as possible after your wedding.
Why a Resin Clock?
Unlike traditional wall art that stays static, a clock brings your wedding memories into your daily routine. It is a functional piece of home decor that serves as a constant, gentle reminder of your vows. If you have other items like kaleeras, invites, or sacred threads, we can discuss incorporating those elements into your design as well.
