It was an honor to work on this deeply personal project. A mother asked me to preserve her daughter's umbilical cord, so I created these two beautiful pendants. One for the mother and one for the father, each inscribed with their baby's name and birth date.

About Wearable Memories & Small Keepsakes
Resin needs care, especially when it is something you wear. Because these pendants, jhumkas, and keychains are exposed to daily use—sweat, sunlight, and friction—I use high-gloss, non-yellowing epoxy and ensure the fittings are secure. Whether it is a tiny umbilical cord pendant or a rose-petal keychain, I build them to be durable enough for your daily life, not just for display.
When we talk about preserving memories, we often think of heavy frames, but carrying a part of a special day with you feels different. Whether it is petals from your wedding bouquet, a rose from a date, or even sentimental items like umbilical cords, resin allows us to freeze those moments in time.

The Process
The magic happens in my Mumbai studio. You send me the flowers or mementos, and I spend time drying, prepping, and arranging them. Every piece is handmade with love. If your flowers are a bit wilted or old, do not worry—I have worked with all kinds. Often, the imperfect ones tell the best story.
I focus on the little things—a date on a bookmark, a name on a pendant, or even embedding a photo inside a keychain. It is not just about resin; it is about making sure that when you look down at your wrist or open your book, you feel that same joy you felt on the day those flowers were fresh. Just ishq.
