Modern Custom TV Unit Designs with UV Marble & WPC Louvers

A great TV unit is about the combination of texture and lighting. I mostly use a mix of high-gloss UV Marble sheets for the backdrop and vertical WPC louvers on the sides to create depth. This is a common requirement in most modern homes in Delhi NCR, and it works because it covers the entire wall, hiding all your electrical wiring and those ugly set-top box cables.

Why use these materials?

• UV Marble Sheets: These give the rich look of stone but at a fraction of the cost and weight. They are easy to wipe clean, which is perfect if you have kids or pets at home.
• WPC Louvers: These provide that modern, fluted wood look without the maintenance of real wood. They are termite-proof and don't expand with temperature changes, making them the most practical choice for Indian weather.

My Process

I handle everything from the base framework to the final touch-ups. If you are doing a floating TV console, I ensure the mounting is solid so it can hold the weight of your TV and decor. For the lights, I leave dedicated channels for profile LED strips, which give the unit that luxury look when the lights are dim.
