Fun, Easy Wedding Sangeet Dances for Your Whole Family
Getting the whole family on the dance floor isn't about being a pro. I design routines that make parents, siblings, and even the 'two-left-feet' crowd feel like stars at your sangeet.
A dance dedication is a beautiful way to show your love. This performance to 'Tu Hai Toh' was a heartwarming surprise from the sister of the groom to her brother on his special day.
A brother-sister dance is always a special moment. For this destination wedding in Mauritius, we created a fun mashup of 'Jaane Kyun' and 'Count on Me' that perfectly captured their bond.
The classic father-daughter dance is a timeless and emotional part of any wedding. I choreograph simple, beautiful routines that create a precious memory for both the bride and her dad.
There's nothing better than dancing with your siblings to the songs you all grew up listening to. This nostalgic performance to 'Uff Teri Adaa' was a fun and personal moment for these sisters.
A mother's solo dance is always a highlight. This groom's mom, a trained Kathak dancer, performed a graceful and elegant routine to 'Kesariya', and it was absolutely breathtaking.
'Bano Re Bano' is the perfect song for a bride's mother to dance to. This performance was full of grace and emotion, a beautiful blessing from a mother to her daughter on her wedding day.
About Fun for the Whole Family
Let’s be honest: not everyone in your family is a born dancer. My choreography focuses on high-energy, simple steps that rely on confidence and expressions rather than complex footwork. Whether it’s your parents doing a graceful classic or your siblings pulling off a fun mashup, I make sure the focus is on the joy and the connection, not on getting every step technically perfect.
Making Everyone Feel Like a Star
My approach to family choreography is simple: remove the pressure. I know the 'two-left-feet' struggle is real, so I strip away the complicated technical moves and replace them with main character moments that anyone can nail.
How we get the family ready:
- Expression First: For parents, I emphasize grace, hand movements, and storytelling. It’s about the emotional connection to the song—like a mother dancing to a traditional classic or a father-daughter moment that brings the room to tears.
- Group Energy: For large family acts, we focus on formations and transitions. It’s about movement that looks grand from the audience perspective without requiring hours of intense drill.
- Personalized Mashups: I don't just pick trending songs. We’ll find tracks that resonate with your family’s history—the songs you grew up with or the ones that get every auntie and uncle tapping their feet.
Logistics for Non-Dancers:
If your family is spread across different cities or countries, we handle it with hybrid sessions. You get high-definition, step-by-step videos for practice, plus Zoom sessions where I fix the timing and posture. By the time the sangeet arrives, your family won't just be dancing, they will be owning the stage.
