Every wedding has that one moment—a candid laugh, a dramatic lift, or a quiet look—that deserves to be captured forever. Here is a glimpse of the magic I get to create on the dance floor.

A beautiful shot of the bride in her stunning red Nidhi Tholia lehenga at her sangeet in San Diego. The perfect twirl shot is a must have for every dancing bride.

The bride and groom in the middle of their sangeet performance, captured in a beautiful lift. The custom-designed dance floor and dramatic lighting made their performance look even more spectacular.

The groom and his groomsmen, a mix of friends from different backgrounds, all dressed in traditional Indian wear for their group performance. I love seeing this kind of energy and camaraderie on stage.

A dramatic shot of the bride and her bridesmaids during their sangeet performance. The backlighting and coordinated outfits create a powerful and visually stunning image.

A close-up shot capturing the beautiful details of an Indo-American wedding, from the intricate henna on the bride's hands to her traditional red bangles.

A candid, happy moment between the bride and groom. These are the memories that you'll cherish long after the wedding day is over.

A quiet moment between the bride and groom on the dance floor before their performance. The black and white photo beautifully captures the anticipation and connection between them.

The pure joy of a sangeet performance. The groom is lifted up by his friends in celebration at the end of their high-energy dance.

About Capturing the Moments

You might notice how my choreography is not just about the steps, but about the flow and the feeling. I work closely with your event team and photographers beforehand to make sure your key moments—like that signature 'Infinity Loop' or a dramatic bridal entry—are perfectly angled for the camera. It is about making sure you look like the star of your own movie.

More Than Just Dance Steps

When I work on a sangeet, I think like a director. It is not just about teaching you 8 counts of a song; it is about the story you are telling. Whether it is a quiet, black-and-white candid shot of a couple before their big performance or a high-energy, groom-squad lift in front of a packed crowd, every second of your dance should feel intentional.

The 'Filmy' Process

I break the process down so it feels like a hangout, not a workout.

  • Stage Blocking & Angles: For my Mumbai clients and even those I work with remotely, I provide stage blocking guidance. We figure out where you stand, how the lights hit, and how to angle your movements so the photographer catches every detail of your lehenga or sherwani.
  • Outfit Considerations: Ever worried about your lehenga can-can or heavy dupatta while dancing? That is part of my coaching. We rehearse with similar weights so you aren't surprised on the big day.
  • The Global Connection: Whether you are in San Diego or South Bombay, my online coaching is designed to feel just as personal. I use digital formation charts and high-def tutorial videos so you never feel lost, no matter your time zone.

My Approach to Your Sangeet

My goal is to capture the joy that happens when you stop thinking about the steps and start living the song. If you have a specific dream—like a Shah Rukh Khan-style romantic moment or a wild, chaotic boys vs. girls dance-off—let’s chat about how to make it happen.
