About Our Champions: From First Shot to Podium
Every trophy in these photos didn't happen by accident. Behind every gold medal is a student who started with a basic wooden bow and a single, focused 40-minute session at Karnala Sports Academy. We don't just teach archery; we prepare students for the grind of the district, state, and national circuits. If you are serious about moving from the shooting line to the podium, you need to understand that consistency is the only shortcut.
How We Build Champions
It all starts with the basics. Many of our national medalists first came to me just to see what archery felt like. We use simple Indian Round bows for our introductory sessions, focusing on stance, safety, and the fundamentals of the release. There is no magic trick here, just repetition and discipline.
The Path to Competition
Once a student masters the basics, we transition them to higher-level training. This is where the real work begins:
- District to National: We guide our archers through the Raigad school district competitions, then onto CISCE regional and state championships, and finally the national stage like the SFA Archery Championships.
- Perfecting Technique: Intermediate and advanced students move from basic wooden bows to recurve or compound setups, where precision and fine-tuning are everything.
- Day and Night Practice: Consistency matters. My students train in morning and evening batches, putting in the hours even when no one is watching.
