About this collection
Our ruffled gowns are designed with adjustable corset backs, fitting sizes 36 to 42. If you pick a gown with a heavy tulle trail, we recommend an outdoor park location to allow the skirt enough room to spread, which creates a more dramatic silhouette in your final photos.
Choosing Your Ruffled Gown
When selecting a ruffled gown for your maternity photoshoot, the environment matters. In our studio, the controlled lighting brings out the depth of the layers. Outdoors, natural sunlight highlights the movement of the tulle.
We provide two main categories of these gowns:
- Standard Flare: These are versatile options, ideal for studio portraits or casual outdoor sessions. They provide volume without being too heavy to manage.
- Premium Long Trail: These gowns include extra fabric designed to sweep across the ground. These are best suited for outdoor garden locations where you have the space to lay the train flat for dramatic angles.
Fitting and Fabric Details
Most of our ruffled collection features a wrap-style top or an adjustable corset back. This ensures a secure fit regardless of where you are in your pregnancy. You do not need to worry about exact sizing as the back lacing allows for comfort while supporting the baby bump.
