My rose-scented candle, hand-poured in a rustic terracotta jar and topped with dried rose petals. This is one of my most popular botanical options for a classic floral fragrance.
This lit candle demonstrates the excellent hot throw of my spice-infused fragrances. You can see the whole star anise, cinnamon, and cloves that release a warm, festive aroma as the candle burns.
I offer a range of molded candle styles, including ribbed pillars and modern bubble shapes, all made from premium soy wax for a clean finish. This image shows the final products against the raw AA+ grade soy wax I use.
About Featured
When I make these, I don't just care about how they look on a shelf. I focus on what we call 'hot throw'—how the fragrance actually fills your room once it is lit. I use a single-pour method for every candle, which gives that smooth, professional finish you see here, without the air bubbles or craters you often find in mass-produced options.
I started Dream Ray Candles because I was tired of candles that looked good but performed poorly. Whether you are choosing one of my rustic terracotta jars infused with cinnamon and star anise, or a modern bubble candle for your decor, the quality remains the same.
Why the process matters
Most of my work centers on the 'single pour' technique. It is labor-intensive and requires temperature control, but it creates a consistent surface texture that prevents the wax from cracking or tunneling unevenly. I only use AA+ grade soy wax, which burns cooler and slower than paraffin. This means you get a cleaner flame and more hours of fragrance from every jar.
Fragrance and performance
For my larger triple-wick glass candles, I arrange the wicks in a triangle formation. This design ensures the entire surface of the wax melts evenly, which is critical for releasing a high-intensity scent. If you are picking a candle for a large living space, that setup is what makes the difference between a faint smell and a room that feels transformed. If you see a bubble or a minor variation in a molded candle, remember that is the nature of a hand-poured product. I prefer the character of a handmade piece over the soulless perfection of a factory machine.
