Large-Scale Floral Art and Sculpture Installations
Massive floral installations change how people experience a space. Whether for a public exhibition or the centerpiece of your private event, I build botanical art that demands attention and keeps guests talking.
For the Mandya Flower Show, I was tasked with creating something monumental. I constructed this entire temple replica using thousands of yellow and orange marigolds, turning a floral concept into a grand architectural statement that honored our local culture.
Another view of the floral temple installation, showing its impressive scale against the park's natural landscape. This piece of floral architecture was a central highlight of the public exhibition.
I created this large-scale map of Karnataka using our state's iconic red and yellow colors, crafted entirely from fresh flowers. This piece was a celebration of regional pride and a demonstration of intricate floral design on a massive scale.
To celebrate our community pride, I designed and built this "I ❤️ Mandya" sign, with the text in Kannada, entirely from flowers. This installation became a beloved photo spot at the flower show, showing how floral art can bring people together.
This installation features a statue of a goddess set against a massive, sun-like backdrop made of yellow and purple flowers. I designed this piece to be a vibrant and respectful tribute, blending spiritual iconography with natural beauty for the flower show.
Here, I created a bright floral halo to serve as a backdrop for a historical statue. The radiant design, made with yellow and red flowers, adds a sense of divinity and importance to the sculpture, making it a standout feature.
A wider view of the park, showing how my floral installations, like the temple and the statue backdrop, create a cohesive and immersive experience for visitors. Each piece is designed to complement the others and the surrounding environment.
About this collection
Building these pieces involves more than just pinning flowers; it is about combining structural engineering with fresh botanical art. For every high-impact installation, I use a custom iron or wire-mesh skeleton reinforced with water-soaked floral foam. This is not a simple arrangement that wilts in an hour; it is a living structure designed to stay fresh for up to 18 hours, ensuring your display looks pristine from the first visitor to the last.
Engineering Your Floral Vision
When you see a life-sized floral sculpture, you are looking at a mix of art and construction. My process begins with a custom-fabricated wire frame, which we secure with weighted base plates to ensure stability for both indoor and outdoor venues. We then pack the skeleton with high-density floral foam, creating a moisture-rich core that keeps thousands of blooms hydrated throughout your event.
Why Scale Defines the Space
Large-scale installations, like the temple replicas or animal sculptures I create for exhibitions in Mandya and across Bengaluru, do more than decorate. They define the entire space. A 15-foot architectural replica or a 5-foot floral peacock acts as a focal point that draws crowds. It changes the psychology of the event, turning a standard venue into an immersive experience where every guest naturally gravitates toward the art for photos.
Customization Options
While I am known for major public displays, the same techniques translate perfectly to private celebrations. I can scale down the grandeur for a naming ceremony with a floral cradle, or ramp it up for a wedding entrance. Whether you need a 8x10ft high-density floral wall that covers the background completely or a unique sculpture to match your theme, my team handles the structural support and the precise placement of every single stem.
The Technical Edge
- Structural Integrity: We use box truss and wooden frames for walls, and iron armatures for 3D shapes.
- Freshness: By pinning hardy blooms directly into hydration-soaked foam, we ensure a solid, vibrant look that withstands hours of exposure.
- Professional Execution: My crew handles everything from setup to post-event waste management, so you can enjoy the art without worrying about the logistics.
Dream Events
I am the person behind the floral installations you see at public flower shows and grand private events. I view every flower as a brick in a larger structure, and I love the challenge of turning a blank space into something that makes people stop and stare. Let’s talk about building something big for your next celebration.
