I believe dermatology should not be about social media trends, but about truth. Here is where I share evidence-based skincare and speak on the science behind what actually works.

It was an honor to speak at CosdermIndia 2025, India’s biggest cosmetic dermatology conference. I took the stage to discuss how viral social media trends are shaping patient mindsets and how we as dermatologists can navigate them with empathy and evidence.

I was grateful for the opportunity to share my experience on managing different cases of pigmentation during a panel discussion at Skillthetica 2025. Engaging with brilliant colleagues and exchanging perspectives is crucial for advancing patient care.

Here I am moderating a session on regenerative medicine for skin and hair at the Aesthetic Medicine India 2025 conference. It was an insightful discussion with respected minds in dermatology about the future of our field.

I was recently featured in an article on HappiestHealth.com to give my expert take on the viral trend of at-home LED masks. It's important to separate the hype from the helpful facts.

Should you be using one of these viral LED face masks? In my featured article, I break down everything you need to know before you invest in one.

What do the different colors of LED light therapy actually do? Blue light helps kill acne bacteria, green can fade pigmentation, red boosts collagen for anti-aging, and yellow calms and heals the skin.

Do I use LED therapy in my practice? Yes, absolutely. It is a part of many medi-facials I perform to calm skin, reduce acne, add glow, and boost post-treatment healing.

There is a significant difference between in-clinic and at-home LED devices. The medical-grade devices I use in my clinic have stronger, customized wavelengths for real, predictable results, while at-home masks are best for maintenance only.

How often should you use LED masks? For at-home devices, you might use them 3-5 times a week for months to see mild results. In the clinic, we can achieve more significant results in just 2-3 sessions spaced 10-15 days apart.

I was honored to speak with ABP Live News on Women's Day about the evolving role of women in healthcare. I believe every woman deserves to feel confident in her skin, and my goal is to make skincare more holistic, accessible, and empowering.

About My Expertise & Speaking Engagements

Real dermatology is not what you see on viral social media feeds. Whether I am moderating a panel on regenerative medicine at Aesthetic Medicine India or analyzing the latest at-home LED masks, my focus is always the same: separating marketing hype from medical reality. Your skin deserves scientific treatment, not Instagram experiments.
