Building Trust Through Obedience & Command Training
Obedience is not about making your dog a robot; it is about establishing clear communication. I help you build a bond where your dog listens because they respect you, not because they fear you.
Meet Raja, a German Shepherd, during his obedience training session. Here we are building focus and responsiveness, which are the cornerstones of a well-behaved dog.
Leo the German Shepherd demonstrates his focus during an obedience lesson. We teach commands like 'sit', 'stay', and 'down', but more importantly, we teach the dog to listen to their owner.
Sahoo, a Cocker Spaniel, learning the fundamentals of obedience. Every breed, big or small, benefits from clear communication and consistent training.
Prince, a Golden Retriever, mastering his obedience skills. A trained dog is a happy dog because they understand what is expected of them, which reduces their anxiety.
Bhairawa, a Cane Corso, learning to walk calmly on a leash. Proper leash manners are essential for safe and enjoyable walks, and it's a key part of our obedience curriculum.
Leo, a large breed dog, showing his progress in an obedience session. Consistency and patience are key, and our residential program provides the perfect environment for this.
This dog is learning the 'come' command, one of the most important safety commands. We also work on 'sit', 'sleep', 'shake hand', and 'roll' to build a full vocabulary of understanding.
About this collection
My residential obedience program at the Kengeri facility goes beyond standard commands like sit, stay, or down. We work on the foundation of your relationship—respect and clear communication. Your dog learns to follow you even amidst distractions, turning the frustration of a dog that won't listen into a rewarding partnership.
Obedience is often misunderstood as simply teaching a dog to follow commands. People ask me, 'Why doesn't my dog listen?' The answer is usually simpler than you think: you haven't earned their respect yet. My residential training program is designed to bridge this gap between owner and dog.
When your dog joins a batch, they are not just memorizing drills; they are unlearning bad habits and resetting their mindset. We cover foundational obedience—sit, stay, down, recall, and hand shake—but the real transformation happens when they learn to focus. This is about psychology, not magic.
We address real-world challenges. Does your dog pull on the leash during walks? Are they easily distracted by other dogs or traffic? Our curriculum focuses on leash manners, impulse control, and structured socialization. By the end of the 30-day bootcamp, your dog will be calmer and more attentive to your cues.
However, a trained dog is only half the solution. The most critical part of my program is the handover process. I do not just return a dog to you; I teach you how to maintain the leadership. As I always say, 'Ninna naayi ninna maathu kelbeku' (Your dog must listen to you). If you do not know how to maintain authority, the training will eventually fade. We ensure that when you take your dog home, you have the tools to keep that bond strong.
Whether you have a German Shepherd, a Cocker Spaniel, or a powerful breed like a Cane Corso, the principles of canine psychology remain the same. We tailor the approach to the dog's temperament, ensuring a stress-free learning environment without the use of harmful tools like electric or pinch collars.
Dog Guru
People call me Dog Guru, but I am just a student of canine behavior. I have trained with police squads and forest trackers, yet my real passion is bridging the gap between owners and their dogs. I believe that if you respect your dog, you get respect in return.
