Correcting Leg, Foot, and Posture for Medical Fitness
If conditions like flat feet or knock knees are blocking your path to the police or army, do not lose hope. I use targeted physiotherapy to help you align your body and meet recruitment medical standards.
Many aspirants for uniformed services are concerned about leg deformities like genu varum (bow legs) or genu valgum (knock knees). This diagram shows these conditions, which we can often correct with specific exercises and physiotherapy, without needing surgery.
Here are five examples of exercises we prescribe to improve knee and foot stability. These are essential for post-injury rehabilitation and for strengthening the muscles that support proper alignment, helping you prevent future injuries.
The goal of my treatment is to bring back this smile of relief. Here, one of my team members is performing a manual therapy technique on a patient's back to relieve pain and improve mobility. Your comfort and recovery are our top priorities.
About Correcting Leg, Foot & Postural Alignment
We start with a biomechanical assessment, not just generic exercises. You cannot fix what you do not measure, and for recruitment medicals, precision is everything. We use digital postural grids and goniometers to map your alignment, identifying exactly whether your constraint is a structural issue or a muscle imbalance that we can correct before your medical exam.
Many aspirants find their dream of joining the police, army, or paramilitary forces stalled by small, correctable physical issues. Medical rejection due to flat feet (pes planus), knock knees (genu valgum), or bow legs (genu varum) is common, but it does not have to be the end of your journey.
My approach is entirely non-surgical. We focus on active, manual intervention rather than passive rest.
The Correction Process
- Assessment: We use AI-assisted postural analysis to see how you stand and walk. This helps us differentiate between flexible deformities—which respond well to physiotherapy—and rigid, structural issues.
- Manual Therapy: I use Grade III and IV joint mobilization to break adhesions in the ankle and knee, restoring the range of motion you need to pass your physical tests.
- Targeted Drills: We work on specific intrinsic muscle strengthening, such as arch-building exercises for flat feet and hip abductor training to counter knock knees. We also use Kinesiology Taping to support your alignment between sessions.
Why Time Matters
Recruitment medicals have strict deadlines. Do not wait until a week before your exam to address these issues. If you have a upcoming medical test, come see me at any of our Delhi NCR clinics—whether in Janakpuri, Vikaspuri, or Dwarka—for a proper evaluation. My team and I work 'dilo jaan se' to help you stand tall in your vardi.
If you are serious about your future, we will put in the work to get you ready. No shortcuts, just science-based recovery.
