About The Vibe: Behind the Decks
When I step behind the decks, I do not follow a pre-set list because no two dancefloors are the same. I watch the crowd’s energy in real-time, blending my signature Bollytech and Afro House mixes to keep the momentum high. If the energy dips, I know exactly which track to drop to pull it back up.
My setup is built for impact. When you look at my gear, you are seeing more than just knobs and faders—it is the engine for the night. I prioritize working with top-tier Pioneer CDJ consoles because the audio clarity and the ability to layer effects smoothly are non-negotiable. Whether it is a high-octane wedding sangeet or a corporate gala, I come prepared to bridge the gap between different genres.
Most people hear the music, but I am listening to the room. My style focuses on 'Bollytech'—a fusion of driving electronic beats and massive Bollywood hits—because it creates a bridge between the younger crowd and the rest of the party. I keep a massive library of high-definition 320kbps tracks so that even on a large sound system, the bass hits clean and the vocals remain crisp.
Logistics matter just as much as the music. For every event, I arrive 60 to 90 minutes early to handle sound checks and coordinate with your AV team.
