When I step up to the console, it is all about reading the room. I do not just play tracks, I mix Bollywood and Punjabi hits with Afro-House or Techno to create a sound that pulls people onto the floor. I bring my own professional Pioneer controller, show up 60 minutes early to tune the system, and stick to your ‘Do Not Play’ list so the music is exactly what you want.
My goal is simple: keep the dance floor packed until the lights come on. Whether it is a corporate gala or a backyard birthday, my approach remains the same. I call it 'The Blend Theory'—taking the familiar Bollywood beats everyone knows and flipping them with fresh Afro-House or Techno rhythms. This keeps the set unpredictable and high-energy, moving away from the same old radio edits.
Technically, I am prepared for everything. For club and corporate setups, I use industry-standard Pioneer CDJ 2000NXS2 or 3000 gear to ensure the sound quality is crisp and professional. If you are hosting a sundowner, I start with ambient, deep house grooves that build in intensity as the evening progresses.
I am based in Mumbai but travel across India for events. If you want something extra, I can also coordinate with live percussionists or dhol players for a full-on fusion experience. I always prioritize a pre-event call to run through the schedule, speech timings, and any specific requests so that when the music starts, it is smooth sailing.
