People often ask, 'What does a DJ even do up there?' It is not just pressing play. It is constant, micro-second decisions. Whether I am at a massive festival or an intimate villa, I am reading the room’s energy, managing gain levels on the fly, and layering acapellas over tech-house beats. You will see me on the mic hyping the crowd or adjusting headphones to drop an edit exactly when the beat hits. It is about precision and timing to keep the dance floor locked in.
The truth is, the magic happens in the gear and the preparation. When you book me for a set, you are not getting a Spotify playlist. You are getting a performance that I shape in real-time. I use Pioneer CDJ 2000NXS2 or 3000 setups to ensure the sound quality is crisp and the mixing is seamless. My signature Bolly-tech sound comes from taking those familiar Bollywood and Punjabi vocals and twisting them into heavy Indohouse or raw techno beats.
I treat every gig as a unique experience. If I am at a festival, I am building a narrative that progresses from deep house into high-octane techno. For private parties, I am more fluid, mixing commercial hooks with underground basslines to suit the guest list. I also bring my own custom 'Ray Reworks' and exclusive edits that you will not hear anywhere else.
Beyond the tracks, I coordinate with VJ teams to match the visual branding to my set.
