The Sound of DJ NYK: Music Production and Live Sets
This is a look into my sonic lab where Bollywood soul meets global electronic beats. From high-energy club nights and immersive light shows to the quiet creative process behind my remixes, explore the work that defines my two-decade journey.
This is my 2024 reboot of the classic Karz theme, a project where I collaborated with Designiter. We aimed to create a completely immersive audio visual experience, using a futuristic setup with programmed laser beams to bring a new dimension to a timeless Bollywood track.
Here is a glimpse of my Bollywood Sunset Set from a beautiful balcony in Spain. I love finding scenic spots around the world to create these mixes, blending romantic Bollywood songs with a chill, electronic vibe that perfectly matches the sunset.
In the studio, I gave the powerful track 'Arjan Vailly' from the movie Animal a drum and bass twist. This is where the magic happens, experimenting with different genres and sounds on my keyboard and sampler to create something unexpected and full of energy.
This is the official poster for my remix of 'Pehle Bhi Main' from the blockbuster movie 'Animal'. It was an honor to collaborate with DJ Chetas and my own academy's alumnus, Designiter, on this project for T-Series, one of the biggest labels in the country.
The energy at a packed Club Privee in Delhi was incredible. This video captures the moment I dropped my progressive house mashup of 'Aaj Ki Raat', showing how I blend classic tracks with modern basslines to keep the dance floor moving.
I had the profound opportunity to perform a special set at the Isha Yoga Centre in front of the Adiyogi statue. This moment, supporting the Save Soil movement, represents the deep connection between my spiritual journey and my creative expression.
This is the cover for my Bootleg Pack, a collection of remixes and mashups from my various YouTube sets. I started my journey with bootlegs, and I continue to put these packs together for my fam, the Electronyk Generation, as a thank you for their endless support.

When I start a remix, I am not just looking for a beat that works. I am thinking about how to bridge the gap between that nostalgic Bollywood melody everyone knows and the kind of bassline that hits hard in a large-scale venue. Whether I am fine-tuning stems in my New Delhi studio or traveling for a set, the goal is always to create a sound that resonates, stays honest to the roots, and moves the crowd.
My work sits at the intersection of two worlds: the emotional depth of Indian cinema and the raw energy of modern electronic music. Over the last 20 years, this has been my signature. You will hear it in my official T-Series remixes like the work I did for the movie 'Animal,' and in my independent 'Adhunyk Lab' projects where I combine tech-heavy visuals with progressive house.
The Production Process
I treat every track like a unique project. When you approach me for a custom mashup or a full music production, we aren't just slapping files together. I use Ableton Live to ensure that every transition is smooth, using professional time-stretching so the audio stays crisp even when the tempo changes. Whether you need a high-energy intro for a wedding entry or a club-ready edit that fills a massive PA system, the engineering needs to be flawless.

My journey isn't just about the gig. Through the Electronyk Academy, I spend a lot of time mentoring the next generation of DJs and producers. I believe knowledge should be accessible, which is why I share tips on music production and workflow. When I perform, whether it's a packed club in Delhi or a quiet sunset set on a balcony in Spain, it is about connecting with you.
