Adhunyk Lab: Immersive Audio-Visual Shows
My Adhunyk Lab projects push the boundaries of Bollywood and Desi music by integrating custom laser shows, light programming, and cinematic visuals into a single live performance.
This is the official announcement for Adhunyk Lab, a new YouTube series and live show I've been developing. My goal is to push the boundaries of Bollywood dance music by creating immersive audio visual and lighting experiences that engage the ears, eyes, and soul.
My 2024 reboot of the iconic Karz theme is a perfect example of the Adhunyk Lab concept. Working with Designiter, we built a full sensory experience with dynamic laser beams and a powerful new soundscape for this classic track.
I grew up listening to the 90s Punjabi classic 'Aaja Nachle' by Bally Sagoo. In this Adhunyk Lab session, I reimagined it with modern Afro House beats, bridging nostalgia with a fresh, global rhythm.
Here, I turned the popular song 'Akhiyaan Gulaab' into a melodic techno dreamscape. The visuals show how the red lighting and abstract background projections of the Adhunyk Lab setup create a deep, atmospheric mood for the music.
This clip features my mashup of 'Heer Aasmani' with the melodic house track 'Addicted'. The blue laser show and intense lighting were programmed to align with the rhythms, creating a powerful fusion of two distinct musical worlds.
A glimpse into my Afro House remix of Diljit Dosanjh's 'Naina' from an Adhunyk Lab set. The single spotlight and minimalist stage design put the focus entirely on the unique blend of Punjabi vocals and infectious Afro House grooves.
Cultures unite when folk and techno collide. This is my mashup of 'Akhiyaan Nu Rehn De' with a driving techno beat, brought to life by the signature green laser patterns of an Adhunyk Lab performance.

About Adhunyk Lab: Immersive Audio-Visual Experiences
If you are looking for a standard DJ set, this is not it. Adhunyk Lab is about building a complete sensory environment where every bass drop is synced with programmed laser arrays and visual projections. We work closely with lighting designers to ensure the music and the visuals do not just happen at the same time, they tell a story together. It is an involved setup, so if you are planning an event, we need to discuss your venue’s AV capabilities early on to get the full effect.
When I started the Adhunyk Lab series, my goal was to change how people perceive Bollywood and Desi dance music. For too long, the visuals have been an afterthought at many events. I wanted to change that by treating the lights, lasers, and projections as a primary instrument alongside the music.
The Audio-Visual Fusion
Every Adhunyk Lab performance is a blend of genres. You will hear classic Bollywood melodies and Punjabi folk roots mixed with modern Afro House, Melodic Techno, and Progressive House. But it is the technical backend that makes the difference. Using software like Ableton Live, I time-stretch tracks to ensure the energy stays consistent while the visuals—programmed by specialists like Designiter—react in real-time to the rhythm.
