About Behind the Decks
I bring the console, my music library, and the hype, but keep in mind that I need you to arrange the sound system—speakers, subwoofers, and monitors—separately. This setup ensures the audio quality perfectly hits your venue's acoustics, letting me focus on reading the room and mixing the tracks without worrying about hardware limitations.
When I am behind the decks, it is not just about hitting play. I am constantly analyzing the room. Whether I am mixing a high-energy Bollywood set or diving into deep house for a sundowner, my job is to read the energy and pivot instantly.
The Tech Setup
I use professional Pioneer DJ gear. If you are hosting at a club or a major hotel in Mumbai, they usually have the rig in place. For private venues, farmhouses, or destination weddings in Goa or Thailand, just ensure your sound vendor knows I will need industry-standard XLR or Booth outputs. This allows me to deliver the crisp, clean sound your guests expect.
The 'Hype' Factor
I am an interactive DJ. I do not sit in a corner. I am on the mic, engaging with the guests, and controlling the pacing of the event. If the dance floor is lagging, I switch up the genre. If the crowd is wild, I keep pushing. I am not playing background music; I am building a scene.
