About Audio-Visual (AV) Shows
When I run an AV show, I treat the visuals like another instrument. I do not just hit play and hope for the best; I sync my animations, video loops, and light cues to the exact drop of a track. Whether it is a dark, moody set for a club or a clean, branded look for a corporate gala, I am behind the screens making sure the visual energy matches the music in real time.
Most people walk into an event expecting a DJ booth, a set of speakers, and a standard light show. I wanted to change that. I started integrating VJing into my sets because I realized that sound is only half the battle. If you want people to really engage with a performance, you have to give them something to watch.
