About Behind the Decks
Before the first track plays, there is always an hour of sound calibration on my Pioneer console. I do not believe in leaving sound quality to chance, especially at high-energy venues. Whether it is a corporate gala or a sangeet, I ensure the audio levels are perfectly balanced so the transitions between Bollywood, House, and Hip-Hop stay seamless. It is the boring prep that makes the party feel effortless for you.
The Gear and The Grind
People see the party, but they rarely see the setup. My 'Silent Grind' philosophy means I am at the venue at least 60 minutes before start time. I use professional Pioneer gear, specifically CDJ-2000NXS2 or 3000 setups, because technical reliability is non-negotiable. If the console fails, the party stops, and that is not in my playbook.
Open Format Expertise
I treat music curation as a live dialogue with the crowd. My setlists are never static. I read the room, gauging whether the energy needs a high-tempo Bollywood track or a smooth House transition. My experience playing in Mumbai, Bangalore, and Jodhpur has taught me that different cities have different pulses. I adapt my mix to match the local vibe while keeping the technical standards high.
Professionalism at the Core
Beyond just dropping tracks, I handle the flow of the event. Whether you need me to manage the mic for corporate announcements or handle the high-pressure environment of a celebrity event, I keep it clean and professional.
