Whether it's a tight club space or a sprawling festival, I use industry-standard Pioneer gear to ensure that every transition—from Bollywood vocals to heavy electronic beats—hits exactly when the crowd needs it.
My Approach to the Console
My performance is about reading the room. I don't follow a rigid, pre-recorded setlist because every night in a city like Mumbai is different. I specialize in Bollytech—a fusion of high-tempo electronic house mixed with the vocal hooks of Bollywood chartbusters. My sets are designed to be dynamic, shifting between commercial hits, underground electronic sounds, and even spiritual chanting when the mood demands a shift in energy.
Crowd Interaction & Atmosphere
I believe a DJ is as much a performer as they are a selector. I use the microphone to hype the crowd, managing the countdowns and drops to get everyone jumping. For me, it is about creating a communal experience where the barrier between the DJ and the dance floor disappears.
Technical Requirements
To maintain the high standard of sound quality, I perform exclusively on professional Pioneer Nexus setups.
- Hardware: I bring my own headphones and USBs. The venue or client must provide the CDJ/XDJ console and a fully tuned sound system.
- Production: I am comfortable coordinating with venue light technicians to sync my performance with your specific lighting, lasers, and CO2 smoke effects.
