About The Dancefloor Experience
You do not need a massive festival stage to feel the bass. My setup is about reading your crowd, whether we are at a spot like Nebula Pub or Gilly's. I focus on live transitions between a classic Bollywood anthem and a hard-hitting Bhangra beat, keeping the energy moving so nobody leaves the floor for a break.
My Approach to the Floor
It is not just about queuing up songs. A great party needs a flow. I start by gauging the vibe—sometimes it is house-heavy, but usually, my crowd wants that high-octane Bollywood and Punjabi mix. I focus on seamless transitions, live MCing to hype up the hook steps, and reading when to switch from a classic 90s nostalgia track to a heavy dhol remix.
My Technical Setup
I do not rely on pre-recorded sets. I bring my own controller and laptop to every gig, allowing me to mix live based on what is actually happening on the dancefloor. If a crowd in Koramangala is feeling 'Jamal Kudu' or 'Lungi Dance', I can layer that into a mashup right there. I also provide motion graphics and visuals for LED walls to make the production feel complete.
Where I Play
I have been lucky to perform at some of Bangalore’s best spaces like Sky Mantra in Marathahalli, The Big Baadshaah, and White Lotus Club. Whether it is a big Lohri celebration or a regular Friday night, I treat every gig as a main event. I arrive early for my 45-minute sound check to ensure the audio is crisp, leaving no room for technical glitches.
