Professional DJ Courses & Mentorship
I don't believe in shortcuts or sync buttons. My training at The DJ School is about getting behind the console and building the real technical skills you need to stand out.
This is where the real learning happens. I break down the difference between using a CDJ and old-school turntablism, showing you how to set cue points manually and master the 'Baby Scratch'. It's not just about playing music; it's about adding that 'tadka', that flavor, to make your set stand out.
My goal is to give you a helping hand, not just point out mistakes. Here I am behind the Pioneer DJ console, ready to guide you on your journey. This is more than a class; it's a partnership.
This is what it's all about. A group of my students, full of energy after a session. We build a community here, a tribe of future DJs who support and learn from each other.
I don't chase dreams, I hunt goals. This is the mindset I bring to my own career and to my mentorship. I'll teach you to be focused, confident, and ready to achieve your own goals in the world of music.
Let's get creative. Here's a look at how I practice mixing different genres, blending a Bollywood track with a Hiphop beat. I teach you these tricks so you can develop your own unique style on the decks.
This is the moment every student works towards. Here's one of my students taking control of the console during his final examination set. You can see the focus and confidence that comes from hands-on practice.
Growth is about learning from the best. I was glad to connect with the legendary DJ Suketu. I believe in constantly growing and I bring that passion for learning to every student I mentor.
About Featured
Forget pressing a sync button and letting the software do the work for you. My classes are 100% hands-on from day one, focusing on manual beatmatching, understanding song structure, and mastering Pioneer CDJs. You will learn to feel the music, not just track it on a screen. If you are serious about becoming a professional and want to build confidence on the console, we will skip the fluff and get straight to the craft.
Beyond the Sync Button
Learning to DJ is about ear training. We spend significant time on manual beatmatching, where you learn to synchronize tempos using your ears and the pitch fader. You will understand why beatmatching matters—it's the foundation of every smooth transition. Whether you are using Pioneer CDJs or diving into the tactile world of vinyl turntables, I teach you the 'why' behind every knob twist and fader slide.
Hands-on Technical Mastery
Our sessions at the Borivali studio are designed to move you from novice to pro without the academic filler. We cover:
- CDJ & Mixer Mastery: Understanding digital and vinyl modes, setting manual cue points, and using effects like Echo or Delay to create energy.
- Turntablism Basics: Introducing vinyl culture. We break down the 'Baby Scratch' and timing, showing you how to add that extra 'tadka' (spice) to your set without cluttering the music.
- Harmonic Mixing: Using the Camelot Wheel to keep your energy flows consistent and professional.
Your Path to the Console
Every student finishes their course by performing a live recorded set. This isn't just an exam; it is your moment to prove what you have learned and gain the confidence to perform in any club environment.
Career & Mentorship
My mentorship doesn't end when the course does. Whether you are aiming for club gigs, festival stages, or just want to master your production skills, I help you with the practical side: building your artist profile, understanding sound checks, and navigating the industry. This is where you find your own dil ki aawaz and learn how to hunt your goals.
