Most DJs rely on pre-mixed playlists, but that is not how I work. When you book me for a set, you get live scratching on Pioneer decks and real-time mashups that I build on the fly. Whether it is blending a classic rock anthem with a hip-hop beat or mixing Kannada hits into a commercial set, I keep the energy shifting so the dance floor stays engaged.

When the floor needs a lift, standard song transitions do not cut it. My approach to DJing is technical. I use my turntables as an instrument, not just a playback device.

I do not believe in the same set for everyone. Before the event, we sit down to discuss the 'do and don't' playlist. I take those constraints and build a set around them. If you want a specific vibe, like a high-octane 90s nostalgia trip or a modern commercial mix, I layer in mashups that bridge the gap between those genres.

• Do you take requests? Absolutely. I read the room. If a request fits the flow, I will find a way to mix it in.
• What gear do you bring? I come with my MacBook Pro and professional controllers. I rely on the venue for the main PA system and speakers, but I handle all the cabling and console setup 45 to 60 minutes before the start.
• Can you handle MC duties? Yes, I double as an MC for corporate events and weddings to keep the flow moving during speeches or transitions.
